Detection to ongoing care

Start with detection.
Keep every stage connected.

The fire strategy, the building and the competent people responsible for the work shape the project. Product choice follows that foundation.

01

Understand the building

Review use, occupancy, available fire information and the installed systems. Discuss the project stage, known issues and the findings prompting the enquiry.

02

Define the technical work

Identify the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance responsibilities. Establish the specialist input, certification requirements and interfaces relevant to the scope.

03

Coordinate access and installation

Plan work around the premises and the responsible building team. Testing, isolation and temporary arrangements need to be understood before work affects an existing protection system.

04

Test and hand over

Record the completed work, commissioned functions and outstanding items. Provide the relevant operating and system information to the person managing the building.

05

Maintain and follow through

Keep service reports, faults and remedial decisions connected. Review the requirement when the building layout, use or protection arrangements change.

Before we talk

Useful answers.

Talk to the team
Where should a fire enquiry start?

Tell us the building use, the systems already installed, the project stage and the issue you need to address. Include relevant findings or system information where available.

Can you help with maintenance as well as projects?

Current fire services include fire alarm maintenance, emergency-lighting testing and safety support. Project and suppression requirements are discussed through the relevant technical team.

Does one visit confirm that a building is compliant?

No. The work and findings relate to a defined scope. The wider duties and assessments of the building need their own competent ownership.
